Sambucus nigra is the name of the plant in which  Elderberries are derived from. Europe is home of the Sambucus nigra. The plant also originated in southwest Asia and northwest Africa. The plant produces flowers in the summer, and the fruit comes about in the fall or later months of the year. Extremely pure and perfect for the cold and flu season.
