FAQ

Each tea bag can be reused 2-3 times before discarding, depending on the herbs in them. If the herbs are usually on the lighter side (Lavender, Chamomile, etc.) expect the taste to be gone after 2 uses. If they are on the potent side (Hibiscus, Spearmint, etc.) expect the flavor to still be there after 2 uses.

What is the process like when reusing a tea bag?

Make sure where you store the bag is moist. When dry, they are open to mold and bacteria. A shot glass with water is a good storing place, or even a cup or a mug with a little water in it, just enough to keep it seeping when you store it away. Then put it in the fridge because there’s less of a chance for bacteria to grow compared to just leaving it out in the kitchen. Don’t wait too long to reuse them. If you take too long to use it and it starts smelling weird, just throw it away.

How long should I steep the tea bag before drinking?

About 5 to 8 minutes, it will range because different herbs require different steeping times, so because of the mixing and matching, be on the safe side and steep for at least 5 minutes. Steeping tips go in every package, more details are there!

Do the herbs have any additional ingredients?

All of our herbs are 100% organic. There is no caffeine either.
